One of my dreams has always been to compete on The Amazing Race. I think it would be such a fun way to grow closer to someone, test each other’s patience and overcome huge mental and physical obstacles together. Some of the stuff they do on that show is seriously insane, and you all know I’m ALL about adventure!
When I was contacted by Challenge Nation, I knew this race was RIGHT up my alley. The Challenge is an “Amazing Race” style competition — teams of two or more dash around Orlando in fabulous costumes and solve tricky clues, strategize the best routes, and explore undiscovered corners of the city. It’s a 5k that tests both wits AND endurance.
Can someone please create/wear this costume? Guaranteed winner of the giveaway if you’re willing to commit
Oh, and did I mention cash prizes? If you think that’s great, each city’s top 25 teams qualify for the $5,000 National Championship race in Las Vegas in November!
OK, so to recap: dressing up in fabulous costumes, working out, testing your street smarts, cash prizes, AND an opportunity to qualify for Nationals in Vegas?! I am SO there. Where is the starting line?
Challenge Nation is a national race, but it will be right here in Orlando next Sunday, October 27! The race begins at 2 p.m. downtown at Wall Street Plaza, and check in begins at 12:30 p.m.
My 22nd birthday is the next day, so you better believe I’ll be right there with you after the race at Wall Street Plaza, dressed up in a crazy costume with
twelve a few margaritas in my hand
Don’t be concerned if you see a little bit of this:
